Overview
Appropriately named "Water's Edge," you can escape to the tranquil serenity of this luxurious home situated in one of Fripp Island’s quietest neighborhoods, Deer Lake. This home has amazing lagoon and lake front views from the front porch, screened porch, deck, and wall of windows. The 2 fountains will be a backdrop for relaxing as you observe the birds and other wildlife that are abundant.
Just across the lake you can explore nature on the Audubon Trail. This maritime forest setting is one that will mesmerize you for hours. A few steps down the street you and your family will delight in the private community pool and playground. You can also hop on the golf cart and take a very short ride to the beach for additional sun and fun.
This open floor plan home has hardwood and ceramic tile floors and a newly renovated gourmet kitchen. There are 10 foot ceilings throughout this spacious home. The living room has a large screen TV with cable and a vaulted cedar ceiling. There are 2 separate dining areas, as well as an island for additional seating.
The well-appointed kitchen has everything you need to make quick snacks and family meals. Morning coffee is a breeze with your choice of drip coffee or Keurig. A second prep sink is ideal for cooking together.
The King primary bedroom has a vaulted cedar ceiling and its own access to the screened porch. The ensuite bathroom has 2 sinks and vanities, as well as an extravagant shower with separate heads on opposite walls, and a soaker tub. The second bedroom is a Queen with a full ensuite that includes a shower. Upstairs is a private retreat with a bedroom, including a full bed and twin bed, TV, play pen, and an ensuite with 2 sinks and a shower, and a deck.
There are both a charcoal and a propane grill for your family barbeques. An outdoor shower is great for rinsing off after a day at the beach. Ample parking is provided in the 2 open stalls under the house and turn around driveway.
PETS MUST BE PREAPPROVED and there is a 2 DOG LIMIT. You will be asked to sign a pet agreement and pay a non refundable $150 pet fee for the first pet and $75 for a 2nd pet. An additional $300 will be charged for guests that show up with a dog without approval.
Club cards are required to enjoy any of the Fripp Island Resort amenities and they are available for purchase with this property. If you opt to purchase cards, a new 12.8% resort fee based on the rental amount before taxes, cleaning and other fees will be charged in addition to the cost of the individual Club cards.

Payments & Policies
Confirmation Deposit
A 50% deposit is required to confirm a reservation. Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival. No reservation is confirmed until the Rental Agreement(s) have been accepted and a deposit received.
Payment Methods
All major credit/debit cards are accepted. A 2.9% transaction fee is charged by the credit card processing company. Electronic checks, or eChecks, are also accepted. No transaction fee is charged for eCheck processing.
Cancellation and Refunds
Notice of cancellation MUST BE IN WRITING AND RECEIVED MORE THAN 60 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR CHECK IN DATE. If paid via credit card, we will refund the sums you have paid, less the credit card transaction fee(s).
If your notice of cancellation is RECEIVED LESS THAN 60 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR CHECK IN DATE, you will forfeit all sums paid, except your security deposit, unless we are able to re-rent the property to someone else, at the same rate, for the same period.

The house was beautiful with peaceful water views from windows and porches on three sides of the house! The screened-in porch was a favorite spot for the family. The beds were so comfortable! The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed using the grill to cook our dinner, and the golf carts for rides to the nearby beach. We also enjoyed a neighborhood walk that led to an Audobon trail to the water. Overall, it was a beautiful, spacious, well-appointed, comfortable home. We loved it and look forward to coming back next year!

259 Deer Run was a beautiful home and we had a great stay. The only down fall was that refrigerator did not stay very cold and the freezer did not seem to be working so it was hard to keep ice. The small drink fridge also did not keep drinks cold. The property manager was incredibly nice and friendly. He lives on the island and was helpful and efficient when we needed him at the beginning of our stay. Overall the house is well equipped with everything you need. Had 3 bikes and beach chairs for use as well.

I wish you would have contacted our property manager about this. Both refrigerators are working fine but there are controls that can adjust the temperature if needed.
We had the best week at 259 Deer Run! Beautiful home, stunning decor and gorgeous views. The property manager was very attentive and communication was superb. Can't say enough nice things about our experience.
Wonderul home and location. Very quiet and secluded. House was overall clean and spacios. Some minor things, the kitchen is in need of sharp knives and a good WOOD cutting board. Also noticed no filters on the HVAC intake. Some new area rugs are needed as the current are worn and full of dog hair. A deep clean is needed. The 2 grill options was a plus, the multiple beach chairs and bikes ( adult bike had a blown out tire) were a nice benefit. Shower head and toilet in master are in need of repairs. Would 100% stay again at this home.
